Come December 6 and Meizu is launching the M5 Note. And from the pre-registrations, it appears there is an increasing user demand.
There have been 80,000 registrations for the first flash sale of Meizu M5 Note. The device has been listed on China’s online mall JD.com.
For a quick glance over the rumored features, the M5 Note is expected to pack a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) display and MediaTek Helio P10 (MT6755) octa-core processor.
The Android device will have three RAM/storage options. The base model has 2GB of RAM/16GB of storage, followed by 3GB/32GB and 4GB/64GB. Each of the variants could also have a different battery setup. The low end version could see a 3920 mAh battery.
Sporting a metal unibody design, the M5 Note will come equipped with a 13MP rear camera and 5MP front camera for selfies. The device will run on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out of the box. If the rumors are true, the Meizu M5 Note will sell for CNY 999 ($145).
Last week, Meizu sent out invitations for the launch of its new smartphone. The media invites also noted Meizu’s feat of producing 20 million units in its Note series.
The M5 Note succeeds M3 Note that was launched in April 2016. To recall, it had a 5.5-inch screen, 1GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 processor, 2GB of RAM and 16GB expandable storage. For pictures, the dual-SIM phone had a 13MP camera on the back and 5MP shooter on the front.
