Fujifilm has officially announced a new addition to the X series in the form of Fujifilm X-A10. The mirrorless digital camera has a lightweight body with retro design.

The latest X-A10 like its predecessors does not compromise on the image quality front. It packs a 16.3 megapixel sensor with an image processing engine to capture stunning visuals in any conditions. And with the color reproduction technology, Fujifilm claims the camera produces “accurate, warm skin tones, clear blue skies and lush green foliage in tones”.
The normal sensitivity range covers ISO200 to ISO6400. You have a total of six Film Simulation modes – Provia (standard), Velvia (vivid), Astia (soft), Classic Chrome (documentary style), Monochrome and Sepia. There are advanced filter for creative effects.
Knowing how self-portraits are the latest rage around the world, Fujifilm has a rear LCD which can be tilted 180 degrees. When you take selfies, the Eye Detection AF is activated to adjust the focus on the subject’s eyes.
The camera is further equipped with two Command Dials to swiftly adjust aperture, shutter speed or exposure settings. There is a dedicated Video Recording button on the rear to easily start recording full HD (1080/30p, 25p, 24p) videos.
For shooting videos, Fujifilm says the Film Simulation function can be applied for a diverse range of creative effects. The electronic image stabilization function reduces a variety of camera shakes through the five-axis image stabilization technology.
Like other comparable cameras in the market, the X-A 10 has an energy-efficient design. It has an extended battery life capable of 410 frames per charge. It also supports swift charging via USB.
With Wireless Capabilities..
The X-A10 is also a WiFi-enabled camera. Using the Fujifilm Camera Remote app you can transfer photos and videos directly to your smartphone or tablet. That is not all, through the Remote Shoot function, you can adjust exposure and other shooting settings as you take a picture on your smartphone.
The interchangeable lens camera is the cheapest in the X-series priced at $499 (with 16-50mm F3.5-5.6 lens). It should hit stores by mid-January.
