Sony has launched a smartwatch called Three Hands Square that looks ditto as an analog watch, but comes with some unique features.
The new release is just an upgraded version of the Wena Wrist that Sony introduced in 2015. When Wena launched it had a band that was equipped with an NFC chip to support mobile payments, besides offering fitness tracking and being water resistant.
Additionally, the strap also boasts of other tech that makes it the most important accessory, allowing users to simply upgrade the strap and retain the timepiece.
Just like in the Wena Wrist smartwatch, in Three Hands Square as well you will find an LED strip for notifications. According to The Verge, there will be 18mm, 20mm and 22mm lug options.
Also, Sony is said to have launched new leather strap in all three sizes. The leather version however will not include LED, but just support NFC payments.
The Three Hands Square is for now just targeted at the Japanese market. Those interested will have to pay JPY 10,380 ($93) for the body, JPY 33,880 ($299) for the steel band, and JPY 8,380 ($75) for the leather band.
