Now you can use Alexa on your iPhone

Amazon has now extended the use of Alexa to all of their iPhone users. In the past, Alexa was only available for those that had an Echo speaker or some other type of Alexa-enabled hardware.

As of today, iPhone  users can simply update their Amazon app for iOS and they are ready to use Alexa. If you are not familiar with Alexa, it is a voice-activated assistant. It can do or help you with multiple things on the Amazon app.

After updating the  Amazon app, use your voice to easily search for and order those products you love to buy but really dislike typing all the information in for all the time. If you have a need to request a cancellation, go to Alexa and ask for it. You will be able to play music that you have purchased and even open and read a Kindle book on a brand-new built-in media player.

The most unique thing that Alexa can do for you is control IoT. This means control Internet of Thing devices. Examples of this would include changing the room temperature setting and control the  lighting in a room. This will not include the Door Lock API, which includes locking and unlocking smart locks.

Alexa has other smarts features that you can access. The Alexa Skills and Smart Home  features. Some of these include news, weather and traffic information. All of the skills and Smart Home features and compatibilities can be set by using the Alexa app.
