Moto Z2 with Modo Mods coming on July 25, could include Moto Z2 Force

Moto Z2 is to be made official on July 25, according to an invite that was spotted on the Moto website in China. The invites were for the #HelloMotoWorld event that could also see the unveiling of Moto Mods.

The Moto Z2’s launch follows the Z2 Play that went on sale last month. It was the latest in the Z series and sported a sleek metal unibody design with support for Moto Mods.

A successor to the Moto Z, the Moto Z2 is expected to feature a 5.5-inch AMOLED display with 1440x2560p resolution. Reports point to a Snapdragon 835 chipset, along with 4GB/6GB RAM and 64GB/128GB storage options.

In the photography department you can expect a dual camera set up with LED flash support. Going by the official invite, the Moto Z2 could see a host of Moto Mods launched alongside. The list includes Hasselblad True Zoom Camera mod,Turbo Power Battery Case Mod, JBL Speaker and the GamePad.

Meanwhile, there will be a high-end handset that Motorola could launch soon in the form of Moto Z2 Force. The device was spotted on AnTuTu benchmarking with Snapdragon 835 chipset, paired with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage.

The listing also confirmed a 12MP sensor at the rear and 5MP sensor on front for selfies. We are not sure if Motorola will launch the device alongside Moto Z2. Stay tuned to Gadgets Post as we follow the upcoming Moto handsets.
