Moto X (2017) render and specs leaked again

Last week live images of Lenovo’s Moto X 2017 leaked. Now, a new report has revealed the specs and a render of the device.

A render of the Moto X (2017)

The leak, coming from noted tipster Roland Quandt, points the device model number to be XT-180x and the codename as “Sanders”. As for specs, much of the them that leaked earlier seemed accurate.

Moto X (2017) is reported to come with 3GB/4GB RAM with 32GB/64GB storage. It will be powered with Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor and Adreno 506 GPU.

The device will come equipped with a dual camera system on the back. One of them cameras is rumored to be a 13MP sensor. The dual camera set up is confirmed by the render that accompanied the report.

Earlier leaks have confirmed a fingerprint sensor at the front and flash support for the front camera as well. To have an all-metal curved body, the Moto X (2017) is expected to sport a 5.5-inch display.

Meanwhile, another Motorola device with codename “Albus” was suggested by Quandt. In a tweet, he revealed the processor to be the same Snapdragon 625 chipset. The RAM and storage are also identical to Moto X (2017). However, the optics part showed a single 12MP sensor. It could be another variant of the Moto X (2017) or an entirely new device.

Lenovo has not confirmed the device or specs as of yet. Also there are speculations over the name, whether it will be Moto X (2017) or bear a new name. For now it is best to take the latest reports with a tiny pinch of salt.
