Right up until this week, HTC’s upcoming flagship was presumed to be named HTC U. A new leak now suggests the name to be HTC U 11.
Popular leakster Evan Blass is certain that the flagship will be named HTC U 11. Since beginning of January this year reports speculated that HTC’s next device will be named HTC U. That was also the time HTC had announced the HTC U Ultra and HTC U Play.
Whether the device will be HTC U or HTC U 11, we will be able to confirm on May 16, when HTC will be officially unveiling the device.
The HTC U 11 will be a 5.5-inch QHD display phone and will be powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 835 processor. It will run Android 7.1 Nougat with HTC Sense 9 on top.
In addition to the aforementioned, there will be a 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. The cameras will be a 12MP Sony IMX362 sensor on the back and 16MP IMX351 on the front.
Meanwhile, Blass claims that the HTC U 11 will be available in five color versions – white, black, blue, red, and silver. It would however be restricted depending on the market.
