The Xperia handsets bearing G3112 and G3121 was spotted recently at the Eurasian Economic Commission. Details on the specs are not available as yet.

“The only thing that makes us believe these phones will be revealed next year at MWC is the model number, which follows the same pattern as the previous phones introduced by Sony at the same trade fair: Exxxx in 2015, Fxxxx in 2016,” PhoneArena notes.

Going with the past releases associated with the model number, it could be that G3112 and G3121 are the flagships to be announced in 2017. The event is set to take place between February 27 and March 2.

Sony’s latest Xperia XZ has already hit store shelves in major markets. It was first unveiled at the IFA technology conference in Berlin.

The device features a 5.2-inch Full-HD 1080p display and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, 3GB of RAM, and 32GB or 64GB of storage. The camera department includes a 13-megapixel front-facing and a 23-megapixel rear camera with triple image sensing technology.

The Xperia XZ sells in the U.S. at a $699.99 price point. The devices sold in the region does not have a fingerprint scanner like the international versions.
