Chinese telecommunication authority TENAA has certified a new ZTE device only listed as TL99. Though the official name is yet to be known, one thing the listing does confirm is a ZTE device is in the pipeline and could see a launch any time soon.
What the TENAA listing reveals on the specs are nothing but that of a mid-range device. You have a 5.5-inch AMOLED display with 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution to start with. A 2GHz quad-core processor will run the device, the name is unknown though.
The hardware further has a 4GB RAM and 64GB storage (expandable up to 128GB via microSD card). For pictures, the ZTE TL99 appears to come fitted with 8MP front camera and 20MP at the rear offering auto focus and LED flash.
Weighing 199 grams, the device’s connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth ad GPS. Also, there is a 3,140 mAh battery, and the operating system is Android 7.1.1 Nougat.
Besides specs, the TENAA listing also gave a glimpse of the device’s design. The exteriors have golden edges indicating a premium design. At the rear also seen is a Lamborghini logo with text Tonino Lamborghini.
Some reports have suggested the name of the device to be ZTE TL99 Lamborghini Tauri Edition. But it should be taken with a pinch of salt, until ZTE makes an official statement on the name and release date.
