Buying refurbished iPhones from a third-party can sometimes be risky. But when Apple begins to sell them officially, you don’t need any second thought.

On the Apple online store you can now find discounted iPhone models that are tested and certified by the company. You will find a refurbished rose gold 64GB iPhone 6S Plus on sale for $589 and a silver 16GB iPhone 6S Plus for $529.
Though Apple sells refurbished computers and tablets, this is the first time its exploring phones. You can trust Apple fully to get an iPhone with a brand new outer shell and a new battery. That is not all, you even get a 1-year warranty.
While some retailers sell refurbished phones, they have restricted warranty, with some covering few parts and others being just 30 days period.
Apple’s own refurbished devices will be unlocked and would work on any network. You can even get AppleCare+ for it, offering protection against breaking of screen or some other damage. Currently, only consumers in the U.S. can purchase the Apple refurbished iPhones.
