Ellipsis 8 HD is Verizon’s new Android tablet

A new leak has confirmed Verizon’s Android tablet Ellipsis 8 HD. Noted tipster Evan Blass revealed images that showed the design and display of the tablet.

The Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD will be the fourth Ellipsis tablet after the last which was Ellipsis 10, launched in 2015. The Ellipsis 10 featured a 10-inch display and had a quad-core 1.5Gz CPU under the hood. It was supported by 1GB of RAM and 16GB of expandable storage.

While for the new Ellipsis 8 HD, Verizon is bringing more thinner design and will also support LTE connectivity. According to PhoneArena, the Android tablet will run on Android Marshmallow and sell in two variants – midnight blue and arctic grey.

Details on price and availability is not made public yet. The older version, Ellipsis 8 sold for $250. A one with contract will come much cheap. The Ellipsis 8 was launched in 2014. The LTE Android Tablet sports an 8-inch screen, 5-megapixel camera, 1.5 GHz quad-core processor and a 5000mAh battery.
