Panasonic P55 Max is a budget-friendly phone with 5,000 mAh battery

Panasonic has launched a new smartphone in India that has a massive 5,000 mAh battery and is priced economically. The P55 Max is selling exclusively with the country’s leading e-tailer Flipkart.

The Panasonic P55 Max features 5.5-inch HD resolution IPS display and is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6737 processor. It is paired with 3GB RAM and 16GB storage (expandable up to 128 GB via microSD slot).

For pictures, users have a 13MP camera on rear with quad LED flash and a 5MP front shooter for selfies. The 5,000 mAh battery supports fast charging as well.

In terms of connectivity, the device will support 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and micro-USB 2.0. As for operating system, it runs Android 7.0 Nougat.

The P55 Max is priced at Rs 8,499 ($132), slightly cheaper than another similar spec’d phone that released in the country. The Moto E4 Plus has a 5,000 mAh battery too and sells at Rs 9,999 ($155).

The E4 Plus sold on Flipkart has already reached the 100,000 sales mark in the first 24 hours. Other key specs in the device include a 5.5-inch HD display with 2.5D curved glass, 3GB RAM and 32GB expandable storage. For pictures, the metal body phone provides users a 13MP primary camera with LED flash and a 5MP selfie shooter.
