HMD Global has introduced two new feature phones that is more or less a simple upgrade and runs on Nokia S30+ platform.
The Nokia 105 and Nokia 130 are two entry-level phones that come in both single-SIM and dual-SIM variants. The Nokia 105 is priced at $14.50 for the single SIM variant, while the dual SIM variant sells for $15.
“More than 400 million feature phones were sold globally in 2016. We cannot underestimate the need and benefit of being connected and we are dedicated to delivering devices that can enable many people around the world to expand their horizon,” Arto Nummela, CEO of HMD Global said in a statement.
Having a fresh design, similar to the Nokia 3310, the Nokia 105 packs a 1.8-inch color display, 4MB RAM, and 4MB ROM. For power, there is a 800 mAh battery, which HMD Global claims can deliver 15 hours of talk time.
The device, which comes in Blue, Black and White, includes FM Radio and comes pre-loaded with games like Snake Xenzia.
As for Nokia 130, you have a 1.8-inch display, 4MB RAM and internal storage that is expandable up to 32GB via microSD card slot. The device is powered by a 1,020 mAh battery which can deliver 44 hours of FM Radio playback time. It also runs on Nokis S60+ platform.
Additionally, you have a built-in FM Radio, music player, Bluetooth and VGA rear camera. It also comes pre-loaded with Snake Xenzia and five try-and-buy Gameloft games. Buyers will find three color options – Black, Grey and Red.
Nokia 130, which is a simple upgrade to the original Nokia 130 that launched in 2004, carries a price tag of $21.50.
