Microsoft Selfie now available on Android

Microsoft’s photo enhancement application Microsoft Selfie is now available for the Android community.

When it was launched in December 2015, it was construed as an app that uses machine learning to improve shots. Through the app and the many filter options, users can enhance colour balance, skin tone, and lighting.

“Microsoft Selfie intelligently considers age, gender, skin tone, lighting and many other variables – all with one click. Users can transform average photos into enhanced, natural photos in seconds,” the firm writes on the app store.

The app was initially only made available for the iOS platform. Why it took Microsoft so long to introduce the app for Android, no one is sure.

Microsoft Selfie is available for free on the Google Play store. You can transform average photos into great portraits in seconds or take a new shot from within the app.
