Meizu has unveiled a new smartphone called the M5. The device sports a 5.2-inch screen with HD resolution and 2.3 curved glass.
The M5 has been launched with two variants. One with 2GB RAM and 16GB storage and other with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage.
The device is mounted with a fingerprint reader and is powered by a 1.5GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6750 processor. It sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with f/2.2 aperture, PDAF and dual-tone LED flash and 5-megapixel camera for selfies.
The Meizu M5 will be available in five color options – Matte Black, Mint Green, Blue, Champagne Gold and White. The device will start selling from November for a price of 700 Yuan ($103).
The dual-SIM phone offers VoLTE support and will be backed by a 3070 mAh battery. Other connectivity options include WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS/ A-GPS support.
Meizu M5 is the successor of M3 which was launched in April. The device was priced at 599 Yuan ($88). It sported a 5.0 inch HD display and was powered by 64-bit MediaTek MT6750 octa-core processor with ARM Mali T-860.
