LQ Q6 will begin selling in South Korea from August 2, other countries to follow

For those eager to get their hands on the LG Q6, the device is finally hitting retail stores on August 2. South Korea will be the first among countries to receive the phone.

LG Q6 was announced on July 10 along with the LG Q6+ and LG Q6a. The device comes with a 5.5 inch Full HD+ display with an 18:9 aspect ratio and a resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels. It is powered by a Snapdragon 435 processor paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage.

The pricing for South Korea has been announced, while for Europe and other countries, LG is yet to make a formal announcement. LG Q6 will carry a price tag of 419,100 Korean Won ($375) and will be available in Astro Black, Ice Platinum, Mystic White and Terra Gold choices.

The Q6 boasts features similar to the flagship G6. It is more durable with 7000 series Aluminium body and rounded corners for durability.

Additionally, it features a 13 MP rear camera and 5MP shooter on the front. It will run on Android 7.1.1 Nougat and will come with a 3,000mAh battery. Connectivity options supported include NFC, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.2, and USB Type 2.

The Q6 siblings Q6+ will see a 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage, and Q6a will include 2GB RAM and 16GB storage.

While ending all the speculations LG has revealed the price and release of the device, at least for South Korea, there are reports suggesting that the electronics giant will be launching the same in Europe sometime in August. Stay tuned to Gadgets Post for more updates.
