The first Nokia Android phone is set to launch in the first half of 2017.

The Nokia D1C was spotted on Antutu and Geekbench with two variants, both having different screen sizes and internals. While one will sport a 5-inch screen with 2GB RAM, the second variant will have a 5.5-inch display and 3GB RAM.

Nokia D1C will be powered by a 1.4GHz Snapdragon 430 processor paired with an Adreno 505 GPU. Running on Android Nougat, the smaller device will feature a 13MP rear camera and the bigger version will see a 16MP shooter. For selfies, there will be an 8MP front camera.

Both the devices will come with 16GB expandable storage. The entry-level devices could be showcased at the MWC 2017. According to rumors, Nokia could also be working on a high-end Android smartphone.

A report by NDTV said the device could feature a 5.2-inch or 5.5-inch screen size, 2K (QHD) display, Zeiss lens for the primary camera and metal unibody design.

The latest leaks come just as Nokia signed a strategic licensing agreement giving HMD Global exclusive use of the Nokia brand on mobile phones and tablets worldwide for the next 10 years.
