Under the hood, you have an octa-core MediaTek MTK Helio P10 processor with Mali-T860MP2 GPU. The processor is paired with a 4GB RAM and 64GB storage that is expandable up to 256GB.

For photography, the A1 comes equipped with a 13MP rear camera with Autofocus, LED flash and 5P lens. Selfie addicts will most likely be drawn to the fact Gionee has fitted the device with a 16MP front camera with 5P lens and selfie flash.

Using advanced algorithm, the device will automatically detect user’s face and enhance the tones and compositional elements of a picture.

The dual-SIM phone weighs 12 grams and comes in three color versions – gray, black and gold. To run on Android 7.0 with custom skin on top, the device’s 4,010 mAh battery is supported by new 18W ‘ultrafast charging’ that can charge the device fully in 2 hours.

Pre-booking for the device will start on March 31. Gionee is yet to reveal details on the price and availability. When the device was launched at the MWC, it had a price tag of EUR 349 (Rs 24,600)
