BlackBerry’s next device, rumored to be a high-end, all-touch called the DTEK60, has been certified by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC).

The folks at CrackBerry spotted the certification by both FCC and Wi-Fi Alliance that shows the device with a model number BBA1001. Just a week back, the smartphone’s listing was accidentally made public on the company’s own website.
The leaked specifications of the device show a 5.5-inch Quad-HD (1440×2560 pixels) display, Snapdragon 820 SoC processor, 4GB of RAM and 32GB flash storage.
The DTEK60, which is internally codenamed as ‘Argon’, will be a flagship device and one of three BlackBerry phones to be soon brought to the market.
Several reports speculated the device being full-touch, but preserving the keyboard. It also will have a 3000mAh non-removable Lithium-Ion battery with USB-C port for charging.
To stay close to the competition, the device will sport a 21MP rear camera and an 8MP front shooter, in addition to a fingerprint scanner.
The DTEK60 follows BlackBerry’s previous model released in July this year. The BlackBerry DTEK50 was a solid entry-level single SIM smartphone with slim body and a 5.20-inch touchscreen display. It was powered by Snapdragon 617 processor, had 3GB RAM, 16GB internal storage and 2610mAh non removable battery.
