Asus’ Zenfone 3 Laser is now available for purchase in India. However, the device can only be initially purchased online through leading e-tailer Flipkart. It will hit store shelves by November.
“With the ZenFone 3 range, we introduced a series of smartphones in India to appeal to a wide range of audience,” said Peter Chang, Country Manager for Asus India.

Asus ZenFone 3 Laser has a 5.5-inch FULL HD display, protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 clocked at 1.4GHz with Adreno 505 GPU. The processor is paired with 4GB RAM.
Commenting on the device, Peter said, the Zenfone 3 Laser is a “perfect blend of affordability and luxury, with its high-class specifications at an affordable price tag”.
The premium device sports a metal body design and will be available in two color variants – Silver and Gold. The device sports a 13MP primary camera with Sony IMX214 image sensor and f/2.0 aperture and an 8MP front camera with 89 degree wide angle view.
Photography addicts will totally love the electronic image stabilization (EIS) technology for blur-free video and the automatic color correction sensor for true-color photography. The rear camera has 2nd-generation laser auto-focus technology for instant clarity in just 0.03 seconds.
On the connectivity front, the device has Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi direct, hotspot, Bluetooth v4.0, fingerprint sensor and GPS. As for battery, it boasts a 3000mAh battery with advanced power-saving features. The phone can go for 22 days on standby time.
