Asus sure likes to make good use of its ZenFone range by stretching how far it can take its signature moniker. For starters, the company released the ZenFone 4 and ZenFone 4 Pro in Taiwan, after which the company has now released its vast range of ZenFone 4 spin offs officially in the US, all of which include the ZenFone 4 Selfie, ZenFone 4 Selfie Pro and the ZenFone 4 Max.
ZenFone 4 and ZenFone 4 Pro
The ZenFone 4 Pro comes with a Snapdragon 835 on board, coupled with 6GB of RAM, 128GB of internal storage, along with a 12MP+16MP camera on the rear as well as an 8MP camera on the front. Keeping the phone powered on is a decently sized battery at 3,600mAh. Being the flagship offering, it will be the most powerful of the lot, and the one that most buyers should most likely vouch for at $600. It also comes with an AMOLED 5.5-inch 1080p display.
The ZenFone 4 on the other hand, offers just an 8MP camera, either a Snapdragon 660 or 630 chipset and a 3,300mAh battery. The phone also misses out on the OLED display, with a 12MP +8MP dual camera setup and costs $400.
ZenFone 4 Max
There are two variants of the phone: one with a Snapdragon 425 processor and a 5.2-inch 720p display and the other with a Snapdragon 430 processor and a 5.5-inch 720p display. Both feature a 13MP main camera and an 8MP selfie camera. The former costs $170, while the latter is $200. Owing to its name, the phone cubes with a 5,000mAh battery and dual cameras at the back consisting of 13MP and 8MP sensors. The phone also packs 3GB of RAM and an expandable 64GB of internal storage.
ZenFone 4 Selfie and ZenFone Selfie Pro
The Selfie features a 20MP+8MP dual selfie camera with a single 16MP camera on the back, coupled with a Snapdragon 430, a 3,000mAh battery, as well as a 5.5-inch 720p display. It will retail for $354, and includes 4GB of RAM along with 16GB of internal storage.
The Selfie Pro comes with a Snapdragon 625 processor with dual cameras featuring one 24MP camera and a 5MP camera. At the back is the same 16MP sensor as before and the screen resolution comes in at 1080p. All this, for a price of $473.
