LG has done well in the U.S. with its latest 5.7-inch Quad HD display phone V20. Since its launch, LG sold over 200,000 smartphones.
The Android device, having a price tag of $750, was made available across the country on October 28. LG says it sold 20,000 units per day since its debut. LG is currently the third leading smartphone brand in the U.S. It has reportedly gained a share of 15.7 percent in the North American market in the third quarter of this year.
Featuring a Snapdragon 820 processor, the V20 boasts of 4GB of RAM and 64GB of in-built storage. LG V20 is in fact the first phone to ship with Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. That surely has played to its advantage.
The camera setup on LG V20 is a treat with two rear cameras, dual flash, and a laser autofocus sensor. The dual rear-facing cameras are of 16MP and 8MP, besides a 5MP shooter in the front. The LG V20 is backed by a 3,200 mAh removable battery.
According to reports, LG is also working on a new V20 S. The V20 S it appears is for key international markets in Europe and Asia. While it retains most of the features and specs found on LG V20, there are minor differences in the display and the storage. The display is a 5.2-inch screen and storage is of 32GB instead of 64GB.
It is also reported that the recently launched LG Isai Beat in Japan is the same LG V20 S. There is no official confirmation on that yet.
