It is official, Daydream View VR headset to hit retail on Nov. 10

Google’s virtual reality headset, Daydream View, will hit store shelves next week.

First unveiled at the Made By Google event in October, the wireless headset will retail for $79 from November 10.

Daydream View will be available for buying on the Google Store and at selected retailers. Verizon and Best Buy are selling the Daydream View in the U.S. It will also go on sale in other markets that include Canada, UK, Germany and Australia.

The View is only available in one color, Slate. Two additional colors, Crimson and Snow, will be available later.

A variety of apps will be available at launch. They include YouTube VR, Play Movies, Street View and games like Invasion!, Gunjack 2: End of Shift, and Fantastic Beasts And How to Find Them.

You can also use a Daydream compatible smartphone such as the new Pixel to enjoy games and videos with immersive experience. High range smartphones that use Android Nougat will also be capable of using the platform.
