Logitech has unveiled a new webcam targeting game addicts who enjoy broadcasting their game sessions in HD quality.
The Logitech C922 Pro Stream Webcam is optimized for streaming in sharp HD quality and recording on channels like Twitch and YouTube. The new webcam succeeds Logitech’s best-selling C920 which was widely used by professional gamers and vloggers.
The C922 Pro Stream Webcam is designed to meet the demands of serious streamers. Users can record HD qualty 1080p at 30fps (frames per second) or a fluid 720p at 60fps. And the uploads are fast, thanks to the built-in advanced H.264 video compression which frees up processing power and network bandwidth.
Other features include a dual omni-directional noise cancelling microphones that capture stereo audio from every angle, a 78-degree field of view, autofocus and the automatic low-light correction through a full HD glass lens. Videos automatically adjusts to accommodate flickering room lights or multiple computer screens.
The C922 Pro Stream includes a fully adjustable tabletop tripod to record from any angle of choice.
Serious gamers would like to do much more than just broadcast themselves. To augment the experience, Logitech has encompassed the digital dynamic background replacement powered by Personify. The feature allows Windows users to integrate live image into the game on Twitch or YouTube.
