ZTE has a new device for those in the US. Launched on Tuesday, the Blade Max 3 is exclusively available through US Cellular for $199.
The spec sheet reveals a 6-inch full HD (1080p) display with a 2.5D curved glass atop, besides a Snapdragon 625 chipset paired with 2GB RAM and 16GB storage (expandable up to 128GB).
With a fingerprint scanner on the back and decent camera sensors, the device does have all the traits of a mid-ranger. There is an impressive 4,000 mAh battery as well that powers the device. The battery apparently can deliver up to 40 hours of talk time.
According to a Phone Arena report, the latest ZTE device succeeds the ZTE Imperial that was launched last year. The predecessor had a 6-inch display, Snapdragon, 615 processor, 2GB RAM and 16GB storage. The battery was smaller at 3,400 mAh.
ZTE Blade Max 3 runs older Android 6.0 Marshmallow. For pictures, users get a dual rear camera set up with 13MP RBG and mono sensors, and a front shooter of 5MP sensor.
If the specs don’t tempt you, at least the price should. Apparently, the $199 price tag is after a $100 discount. With a subscription, you can also get the device for $12.5/month. For now, we can only be sure that the device is exclusively for the US market. May be soon ZTE will introduce the device in other key markets.
