The Xiaomi Mi Mix was an interesting device when it launched in November last year. It had minimal bezels and had a ceramic body making it stunningly beautiful. A successor to the Mi Mix has been the talk of the town for some time.
Xiaomi Mi Mix 2, the supposed successor, had leaked a couple of times past weeks giving us a glimpse of the hardware and other features. Now, a benchmarking listing confirms many of the rumored details.
According to a listing spotted on GFXBench, the device will have a Snapdragon 835 chipset paired with 6GB RAM. Additionally, it also confirms the device will run on Android 7.1.1.
If you are curious on other specs that will feature on the deice, the Mi Mix 2 is rumored to see a 6.4-inch QHD IPS display with 2560x1440p resolution and is expected to come in three variants – 4GB, 6GB and 8GB RAM. There will also be storage options of 128GB and 256GB.
Besides the aforesaid, the device should include a 19MP rear camera with LED flash and 13MP front camera for selfies. The battery will be a massive 4,500 mAh.
Just recently, Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun had confirmed to the public through a post on Weibo that the Mi Mix 2 will be launched later this year.
It was also revealed that the company is working again with French designer Philippe Starck for the design. Thanks to Starck, the Mi Mix was a wonder phone with a sleek body and cutting edge design. You can be sure of another masterpiece with Mi Mix 2.
