Vivo X9 and Xplay 6 launched, know features & price

The X9, X9 Plus and Xplay 6 was launched in China today. The spec sheet of the devices boast of impressive features. And they are also available in different storage variants.

Let’s delve into the details. The X9 was launched at a price of CNY 2,798 ($407) and boasts of a 5.5-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display, Snapdragon 625 chipset clocked at 2GHz paired with 2GB RAM and 64GB/128GB internal storage.

It has a 20MP dual camera in the front and 16MP rear camera with flash. The 4G VoLTE device runs Android Marshmallow 6.0 and is backed by a 3,050mAh battery.

The bigger version of the device was launched in the form of X9 Plus. It features a 5.88 inch IPS screen with Full HD resolution and has a 20MP dual front camera and a 16MP rear camera. X9 Plus is powered by the same processor with 6GB RAM, 128 GB storage and an impressive 4,000 mAh battery. We are not able to ascertain the price of this device yet.

Wait till you read on the flagship Xplay 6. This one is a bezel-less device with Super AMOLED Quad HD curved screen with dual rear camera set up.

Priced at CNY 4,498 ($654), the 4G device is powered by a Snapdragon 820 chipset paired with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. The camera boasts a Sony IMX362 sensor, PDAF, and a f/1.7 aperture with dual tone LED flash. On the rear you have a 12MP sensor and  a 5MP secondary sensor. For selfies you have a 16MP shooter with f/2.0 aperture.

The dual-SIM phone packs 4,080 mAh battery with fast charging. It runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box. We don’t know when the device will be launched in key markets. Stay tuned as we bring more updates.
