Transcend has outed a new SSD with built-in 3D NAND flash which is a lot superior and provides higher capacity/volume ratio. The SSD230 solid state drives boosts storage capacity and transfer rates with the new 3D NAND technology.

Briefing on the technology, Transcend said 3D NAND increases cell-to-cell interference and reduces reliability as it approaches its physical scaling limit. It also features higher endurance and lower power consumption.
The SSD230 is equipped with a DDR3 DRAM cache, providing a 4K random read and write performance of up to 340MB/s. It comes with an exclusive SSD Scope software that is designed to optimize and monitor performance.
Transcend said the SSD230 offers blazing transfer speeds of up to 560MB/s read and 520MB/s write. The solid state drives are offered in 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB capacities
