TomTom today launched three fitness products for the Indian market. It was released under a new division called TomTom Sports, exclusively for wearables and fitness products.
The TomTom Touch fitness tracker makes BCA (Body Composition Analysis) more accessible
The TomTom Touch, TomTom Spark 3, and TomTom Adventurer is clearly aimed at fitness enthusiasts. The first is a wearable to measure the percentage of body fat and muscle mass in the body. The device further track user’s steps, sleep, heart-rate and calories burned. There are special modes for running or cycling.
TomTom Touch is accompanied with the TomTom MySports app to stay connected with notifications and updates. The fitness tracker is priced at Rs 13,999 ($205). It will be sold exclusively on Amazon India website. Two other products released by the mapping company include the TomTom Adventurer and TomTom Spark 3.
The Adventurer is an outdoor smart watch with an optical heart-rate monitor, music playback and the new route exploration mode. There are modes that include hiking, trail running, skiing and snowboarding.
This GPS-based wearable can easily measure distance, elevation, ascent and descent. An extended battery life mode will keep the watch running for 24 hours. The best part is it automatically syncs to the MySports app, so you can check and monitor details anytime. The TomTom Adventurer will have a price tag of Rs 25,999 ($382).
As for Spark 3, it is again a sports watch that includes GPS, multisport tracking, and ‘route exploration’. It will sell at Rs 13,999 ($205) for the standard version. The multisport fitness watch will be available in three variants – Spark 3 Cardio, Spark 3 Music and Spark 3 Cardio + Music.
