Seagate has announced a new external 512GB SSD for Xbox One. The latest launch follows the HDD version debuted at Gamescom 2015, available in 2TB and 4TB capacities.
The SSD has a sleek and stylish aluminum enclosure. The external drive can be plugged into the front or back of Xbox One to enjoy 512GB of storage, enough to store about 15 games.
Besides storage, Seagate also promises gamers fast boot and load performance with the new SSD. It apparently uses flash storage to improve gaming experience. It further reduces waiting at welcome screens and enables quicker transitions between levels.
Seagate says users can archive less frequently played games on their console and keep a huge library of games at their fingertips on the Seagate Game Drive.
