Samsung has launched a new Galaxy J series phone in Thailand. The Galaxy J7+ is a successor to the Galaxy J7 (2017).
The J7+ will start shipping on September. It was launched in Thailand with a price tag of TBH 12,900 ($389).
Many of the features appear identical to the Galaxy J7 (2017) and Galaxy J7 Pro. However, on the processor front, on J7+ you have one by MediaTek, while on the J7 and J7 Pro, users received a Exynos chipset.
On the storage front, the device offers 32GB that is expandable to up to 256GB via microSD card. For pictures, you have two cameras at the rear with a combination of 13MP sensor with f/1.7 aperture lens and 5MP sensor with a f/1.9 lens. Selfies are taken by a 16MP shooter paired with a f/1.9 lens.
To unlock the phone, there is a fingerprint scanned placed in the home button. Power is drawn by a 3,000 mAh battery. The battery set up might be a let down considering that the J7 (2017) and J7 Pro offered a 3,600 mAh setup.
Galaxy J7+ will be available in three color variants – Black, Gold and Pink. Samsung will soon be announcing the release date of the device for key markets. Stay tuned to Gadgets Post for more updates.
