Introducing two new devices to the J-series portfolio, Samsung today launched the Galaxy J2 Ace and Galaxy J1 4G in India.
The Galaxy J2 Ace has a bigger screen size with 5-inch qHD panel. The Galaxy Ji 4G on the other hand is a 4.5-inch phone with a WVGA Super AMOLED screen. Both the phones come with Samsung’s ‘Make for India’ features like Ultra Data Saving mode (UDS) and S-Bike mode.
“These models have been conceptualised and equipped with front flash and Super AMOLED screens respectively to cater to the needs of both selfie takers and entertainment lovers,” said Manu Sharma, VP of Samsung India.
“As market leaders, Samsung is committed to not only catering to the growing needs of consumers but also providing best-in-class 4G experience and the new devices will enable us to hasten the proliferation of 4G in India.”
For more on the specs, the Galaxy J2 Ace is powered by a 1.4 GHz Quad Core processor, coupled with 1.5 GB RAM and integrated Turbo Speed Technology. For pictures it has an 8MP camera on the rear and 5MP camera on the front with selfie flash.
The Galaxy J1 4G is an entry-level 4G device that is powered by 1.3 GHz Quad-Core processor and 1GB RAM. It sports a 5MP rear and 2MP front camera
Galaxy J2 Ace is priced at Rs 8,490 ($124), while the Galaxy J1 4G retails at Rs 6,890 ($101). Both the devices will be available in gold, black and silver.
