Samsung Galaxy Feel is a 4.7-inch display phone, just for Japan

How often do we read on cool smartphones with smaller screen estate? Samsung’s new launch in Japan could fall under one of those categories.

The device, dubbed as Galaxy Feel, has a 4.7-inch AMOLED screen and is exclusively made available with NTT DoCoMo, the country’s largest wireless network carrier. Even though the screen size is relatively small, the hardware it comes with is pretty decent, almost on the scale of mid-range devices that we read about every day.

On Galaxy Feel, you have a 3GB RAM and 32GB storage (expandable va microSD card). The device is powered by a 1.6GHz octa-core processor. In terms of pictures, there is a 16MP camera on back as well as a 5MP snapper on front. The device is armed with a 3,000 mAh battery and will run Android Nougat 7.0 out of the box.

For now, the device is only confirmed for Japan and will hit the market in the middle of June. Buyers will have three color variants to choose from – Opal Pink, Moon White and Indigo Black.
