Xiaomi has been in the news lately for its Redmi Pro 2 which was to launch before March end. A Geekbench listing now confirms some of the core specs and also hints at a launch any time soon.
It could also be possible that Xiaomi will bring a variant on the Pro 2 with Snapdragon 660 SoC. There is no official confirmation on either yet.
In addition to the processor, the Geekbench listing also reveals the RAM to be of 3GB and a Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system.
Reports earlier suggested that the Redmi Pro 2 will launch with a 5.5-inch display and will feature a 12MP dual camera setup.
The storage will be of 64GB. There might be two RAM and storage variants. The bigger version should see a 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. The base variant should carry a price tag of CNY 1,599 ($232).
The Redmi Pro was the first Xiaomi smartphone to arrive with a dual-lens camera setup. It sported a 13MP Sony IMX258 censor coupled with a 5 MP Samsung sensor.
It further features a 5.5-inch full HD OLED display and packed a 2.5GHz deca-core MediaTek Helio X25 processor, paired with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage. It was backed by a 4,000mAh non removable battery with fast charging support.
