On an exclusive reach out to the US-based tech blog TechnoBuffalo, LG broke the news that its upcoming LG G6 will come bundled with a free unit of Google Home, Google’s voice-activated speaker with Google Assistant, which you can safely call a smart speaker.
LG certainly knows how to make the headlines with its devices, and in the right way too. If the LG G5 hadn’t caught your attention, then the G6 definitely will. While the handset is not yet made available in the US market, it is expected to reach the buyers by April 7 and with its latest revelation, LG seems to have given the ultimate scoop for jacking up the hype on G6 by giving away a $129 worth Google Home unit for free. And boy, have they got us!

However, there is a catch. You would have to pre-order the LG G6 in the US before it’s April 30 to get your free Google Home. And here’s how you can do it: go to the LG G6 Google Home promotion page, sign up for the promotional offer and pre-order your G6. Come back by May 15 and redeem your Google Home online. The LG G6 is expected to cost you somewhere between $700 and $800. And it is not a bad deal if you ask us. Just look at the specs if you’re having a hard time believing us.
The G6 will flaunt a 5.7” FullVision Display with an 18:9 aspect ratio, Dolby Vision and QHD resolution that make the G6 look almost bezel-less. The dual 13MP primary cameras for wide angle ensure you never leave the details out of your frames. Also by claiming to be water and dust-resistant, the G6 boasts it can survive accidental drops and the occasional drowning. While all of this will be run by Android 7.0 Nougat, the deal is sweetened even more with the LG G6 being the first smartphone to have inbuilt Google Assistant. Add to this, the intelligent and funky-designed Google Home, and you have a match made in the heavens.
