The Polar H10 is a chest strap that is attached on you so as to get continuous feedback of your biometrics while you either workout or need to track your health rate on the go. The device can also be attached to your GoPro to show your heart rate rising in those adrenaline pumping moments.
The Polar H10 has a simple strap design that can be attached on your chest area with an oval shaped Polar sensor in the middle to track the biometrics of the user. The design does not look too complicated and will not give a bulky impression if you are planning to wear it while doing official matters. The company claims that the chest strap has been designed to ensure that comfort is always a priority along with the accuracy in data.
To ensure the accuracy in data the company claims to have included more electrodes than the predecessor model Pulse H7, which was also a great success in the market. Pulse H7 was one of the first chest strap heart rate monitors to hit the market which proved to be better at the job as compared to smart bands or smart watches. With the launch of the H10, the company has succeeded in taking up the standards one more notch.
Compatible with multiple health apps available out there in the market, the device can be easily configured to work with your mobile phone. The company has officially provided with an app by the name Polar Beat App to make things easier for users. Polar has also said that the device is compatible with Polar Team Solution and Polar Club along with various other indoor gym equipments. Polar provides the device with a replaceable battery so that battery issues will not make the device useless and can be used for a longer period by replacing the batteries.
The Polar H10 features a Bluetooth LE and a 5KHz transmission frequency for connectivity. The device is also waterproof to up to 30m of depth, the depth till which the device will work without any issues. The Polar H10 hits the market at the price tag of $89.
