Sony’s PlayStation Vita will come in two new colors – Metallic Red and Silver. The announcement was made by Sony at the pre-Tokyo Game Show conference in Japan.
PS Vita shades currently found in the market include Aqua Blue, Neon Orange and Glacier.
The new Vita colours will be available from October for JPY 18,980 ($185).
Just when users thought PS Vita would soon become history, Sony brings the announcement, reviving hopes of fresh updates and games. In many regions, the PS Vita has already been discontinued. Sony’s successful game consoles such as the PS4 could be among other reasons why Vita lost its charm.
Meanwhile, during Tuesday’s conference, Sony also showed a number of upcoming Vita games. The list includes SaGa: Scarlet Grace; Danganronpa V3; and a Fortune Street board game.
