Rumor mills are intensely abuzz with Oppo’s bezel-less Find 9. A new leak now claims the device will come equipped with a massive 21MP camera on the back and 16MP front shooter.
A GSMArena report today cited a source from China that revealed the core specs. Besides the camera set up, the report claims the phone will have a 5.5 inch 2K display, in addition to a Snapdragon 835 chipset.
The processor is expected to be paired with 4GB/6GB RAM and 64GB/128GB storage options. Oppo’s next flagship will in fact be decked with a 4100mAh battery that will also support fast charging technology.
Variants & Release Date
Oppo Find 9 could have two processor variants besides RAM and storage options. The Snapdragon 653 could be priced more economical.
Earlier, images of the Oppo Find 9 leaked online showing the device having a bezel-less display. It also was rumored to have a new Artificial Intelligence system called Find OS. Find 9 is rumored to carry a price tag of CNY 3,999. As for launch, it is expected to launch sometime after the MWC in Barcelona.
Another camera phone, Oppo A57
In the meantime, for those selfie enthusiasts, Oppo had recently launched the A57 which boasts a 16MP front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture. The 4G LTE phone launched in China in November at a price of CNY 1,599.
As for the innards, the 5.2-inch HD LCD display phone had Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 SoC with 3GB RAM and expandable 32GB storage. The smartphone, powered by a 2900mAh battery, will arrive in India on February 3. “The all new #OPPOA57 is hitting the markets on the 3rd of February,” Oppo announced in a tweet on Friday.
