Oppo was reported to launch the Oppo A77 on May 26. However, it now appears the Chinese smartphone maker has made the device official through its Taiwanese website.
The Oppo A77 is a mid-range device with a 5.5-inch full HD screen and a Mediatek MT6570T processor at 1.5GHz. Pre-orders for the device will open in Taiwan on May 19.
A77’s processor is accompanied by a 4GB RAM and 64GB storage that is expandable via microSD slot. Power is drawn by a decent 3,200 mAh battery.
Selfie lovers will appreciate the camera sensors Oppo has fitted on the device. You have a 16MP front camera with Beauty 4.0 and Portrait Mode. The primary camera at the rear consists of a 13MP sensor with phase detect autofocus and a dual LED flash.
Buyers can choose from Gold and Rose Gold color variants. As for price, the website mentions the A77’s cost as NTD 10,990 which converts to $364.
Successor of the Oppo A57 that was released back in November, the device will soon be introduced in other markets. On May 26, we should probably get an idea of the global availability and price.
