OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T owners receive Android 7.1.1 update

OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T owners have news to cheer them up. New updates are being released along with bug fixes.

The OxygenOS 4.1.3 rollout is happening via an OTA update

According to the changelog for both updates, the devices will be upgraded to Android 7.1.1, will offer improved picture taking of moving objects with blur reduction and improved video stability when recording.

Other important enhancements and fixes include improved WiFi and bluetooth connectivity, resolving hardware buttons malfunction bug, Instagram swiping bug and other general bug fixes.

OnePlus will release an OxygenOS 4.1.3 update (based on Android 7.1.1) for both the OnePlus 3T and OnePlus 3 in the coming days. According to an NDTV report, the OxygenOS 4.1.3 update is happening via an OTA update so users should keep an eye on the system update notifications.

OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T devices first welcomed the Android 7.0 Nougat-based OxygenOS 4.0 update in January this year. The latest update comes just a month after OnePlus rolled out OxygenOS 4.0.3 update that fixed two major vulnerabilities of older OxygenOS versions.
