Two Nokia devices are expected to be launched next month. A recent leak has revealed the price of the Android-powered phones.
One of the two flagships dubbed as D1C will be a budget device at $150. The report on NokiaPowerUser speculated the new D1C will come in two variants, with the second being a 3GB RAM variant at $200.
Finland-based HMD Global will be launching the Nokia phones at Mobile World Congress 2017 in Barcelona.
As far as other specifications, the base model will sport a 5-inch Full HD display with 2GB RAM. The bigger variant will be a 5.5-inch display and will be powered by a Snapdragon 430 processor.
To run the latest Android 7.0 Nougat operating system, the devices will ouse a 13MP rear camera and 8MP front shooter. Reports also speculate the larger variant to come with a 16MP primary camera.
HMD Global recently signed a 10-year brand licensing agreement that will see introduce new Nokia smartphones and tablets. HMD will partner with Nokia, FIH Mobile Limited (FIH) and Google for its upcoming Android phones.
Under the 10-year agreement, Nokia will receive royalty payments from HMD for sales of every Nokia branded mobile phone and tablet. One more month and we will know how the comeback is going to resuscitate the brand.
