Nokia 3 just passed through the FCC database

Nokia 3 is one of the four new Android-based phones introduced by HMD Global at the MWC 2017 in Barcelona. The device reportedly has just surfaced on the Federal Communications Commission’s (FCC) database.

The FCC filing is listed with the model name “TA-1038”. It also shows the IMEI Code, network modes and wireless technology and frequency range. It does confirm that the Nokia 3 will be a dual-SIM phone and will support NFC.

Nokia 3 will be available globally in Q2 2017 and will retail at 139 Euros ($149). Measuring 143.4×71.4×8.48mm, the device will come in Silver White, Matte Black, Tempered Blue and Copper White.

The spec sheet reveals 1.3GHz MediaTek MTK6737 quad-core processor with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage (expandable to 128GB). The entry level phone sports a 5-inch HD IPS laminated display. While Nokia 5 and Nokia 6 will feature full metal bodies, in Nokia 3 the body will have a metal frame and plastic body. It is equipped with 8MP front and rear camera and runs Android Nougat 7.0.
