Moto fans in India can look forward for the unveiling of Moto G5 Plus next week. Motorola has sent a media invite for the launch of the device on March 15.
Moto G5 Plus will be sold exclusively through popular etailer Flipkart. It could be priced around Rs 14,600, considering the global price tag of $218. There will be more clarity on the price around launch.
The device was unveiled last month at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain. Users have RAM and storage variants. You have 2GB/3GB/4GB RAM and 32GB/64GB storage (expandable up to 128GB).
On the spec sheet, you have a 5.2-inch full high-definition display and Snapdragon 625 processor. There is a front-mounted fingerprint reader and USB Type-C port as well.
For pictures, you have a 12MP camera at the back with an aperture of f/1.7, phase detection autofocus and a dual LED flash. There is a 5MP front facing camera for selfies.
Other highlights include the latest Android 7.0 Nougat OS and Google Assistant feature which was previously announced in Google Pixel and Pixel XL. The Moto G5 Plus is armed with a 3,000 mAh battery.
Moto G5 Plus will face tough competition in India, with a number of devices available with top-notch features and affordable price tag. Among many will be the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 that comes with a 5.5-inch screen, Snapdragon 625 processor and 4GB RAM and 64GB storage.
The Redmi Note 4 also packs a 13MP rear camera and 5MP front camera. It is powered by a 4,100 mAh non removable battery.
