Battery case manufacturer Mophie has introduced a new lineup of modular cases for Apple iPhone 7. The ‘Hold Force’ case allows to attach various peripherals via magnetic charge on the back.
OtterBox was the first to introduce a modular iPhone 7 case that turned device into a pro camera, modern register, backup battery or credit card reader. The case features a slotted rail so you can attach and swap out modules.
The Hold Force line works in similar concept but has magnetic plates built into the back. The plates embedded in the back allow you to attach accessories by simply touching it to the back of the smartphone. The cases feature an extremely thin, minimal design with raised corners for added protection.
The base case ‘Grad’ model incorporates a crystal clear TPU outer band with soft grip, while the base case ‘Wrap’ model is designed with crystal clear PC and soft TPE grip on top and bottom. A bright color TPU over-mold provides additional protection from bumps and drops.
“We developed the hold force system to offer stylish, protective cases and the freedom to easily attach a portable battery or another accessory when needed,” said Shawn Dougherty, co-founder and President of Mophie.
You can pick 4.7-inch or 5.5-inch case size for the iPhone 7 or iPhone 7 Plus and pick between 9 color options on each accessory. The cases sell for $40. As for the accessories, the list includes a folio case, 4,000mAh rechargeable battery, wallet with credit card pockets and integrated switch-tip cable with lightning and micro USB connectors.
