The invite does not mention the name. It only hints at a device with Helio chipset. “Make Helio Great Again” goes the text on the invite. No doubt this is the much-awaited M5 Note.

Last week, the visuals of the device leaked on Weibo, showing a metal body and the sensors on the back. Providing much insight on the specs was a listing spotted on benchmarking websites Geekbench and AnTuTu.

The listing confirms the name as Meizu M5 Note, running on Android 6.0. Powered by Mediatek’s Helio P10 SoC, the device will sport a 1080p display. The hardware also includes a 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. On the camera front, you have a 13MP rear camera and 5MP shooter in the front. The smartphone came in two variants based on storage – 2GB RAM + 16GB ROM and 3GB RAM + 32GB ROM.
