The Meizu Pro 7 has leaked a number times throughout the past few months. The latest reveals the flagship to sport a premium enclosure made of titanium alloy.
New images of the purported Pro 7 suggests the device will have a design that is close the predecessor, the Meizu Pro 6s. Apparently, this will be Meizu’s first flagship to feature a 4K display. From what we have gathered, it appears the flagship will boast a 5.7-inch display with 2160 x 3840 resolution.
Under the hood, the device will be powered by a MediaTek Helio X30 deca-core processor, alongside 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage (expandable via microSD). There will be two variants, the more expensive having 6GB/8GB RAM and 128GB storage.
Going further, the device is expected to launch with a Sony IMX362 sensor on the rear.
All the latest information coming through is extracted from the marketing image that was possibly leaked to instil fresh enthusiasm. Posted on Anzhou, the images could also be completely fake, either way it must be taken with a pinch of salt.
Prices & Release Date
Pro 7 will feature a fingerprint scanner on the front and should run Android Nougat on its own Flyme 6 UI skin. With its bezel-less design, the phone will give a tough competition to Xiaomi’s Mi Mix and Galaxy S7 Edge.
The latest Pro 7 leak also reveals the price tag of the 8GB variant to be 3,799 Yuan ($552). The 6GB RAM version should be priced 3,599 Yuan ($523) and 4GB one will be 3,299 Yuan ($479).
Meizu’s last device in the Pro series lineup was the dual-SIM, 4G LTE capable Pro 6s. Launched in November last year, the device featured a 5.2-inch Super AMOLED display (1920 x 1080 pixels resolution) and Deca-core Helio X25 processor.
The device was backed by a 3,060 mAh battery that supports fast charging. The camera was a 12MP IMX 386 sensor, with 4-axis optical image stabilisation, phase-detection and auto focus.
Meizu Pro 7 is tipped to be launched in June 2017.
