The Meizu M6 Note has been in the rumor mills for quite sometime now. While the device is confirmed to carry compelling specs, the release date was unknown till today. In a new teaser, the company has announced that it will launch the device on August 23.
A successor to the Meizu M5 Note that launched last December, the new M6 Note is expected to feature a 5.5-inch Full HD LCD display and will be powered by MediaTek Helio P25 octa-core chipset paired with Mali-T880 GPU.
Recent leaks also point to a 4GB RAM and 32GB/64GB storage. In the camera department, it will sport a dual camera setup on the rear side with 12MP Sony IMX 258 sensor. In the front, there could be a 13MP camera fitted. Power will be drawn by a 4000 mAh battery with Quick Charge support.
We can also confirm that the phablet will run Android 7.1 Nougat out of the box. M6 Note is rumored to sell at 1,599 Yuan ($239).
Meizu’s latest offering comes just a month after it announced the flagship Pro 7 and the Pro 7 Plus. It boasts a unique design, with a secondary display on the back of the phone for notifications and other uses. The Pro 7 has a 5.2-inch AMOLED display and runs on a Helio P25 processor.
In the Pro 7 Plus, users will find a bigger screen, RAM and storage capacity. Both the phones however have same 12MP sensors on rear and 16MP front shooter on the front. The Meizu Pro 7 has a price tag of $430, while the Pro 7 Plus will sell for $530.
