Display, hardware and others

The first to fall under the new T series, the T8 sports a full metallic body and features a 5.2-inch AMOLED Full HD display (1920x1080p resolution). It will be powered by a Deca-core Mediatek X20 (MTK6797) processor paired with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage. Like its predecessors, the T8 will have a circular home button with an embedded fingerprint scanner.

There is a 3,580 mAh battery with fast charging as well. The T8 will run Android 6.0 Marshmallow with custom MEIOS on top.

The Meitu T8’s highlight without any doubt is the camera capabilities. The front facing 12MP cameras for instance employ an AI technology for face recognition and age identification. It also offers autofocus, optical image stabilization and noise-reducing ISP and can record HD videos at 1080p resolution.
