Custom PC builder Maingear is collaborating with Razer, a gaming peripheral and accessory company, to build a top-notch gaming PC named Maingear R1 Razer Edition.
The hand-assembled desktop has a chassis designed by Razer and is customized with Chroma RGB lighting. The inside is built and configured by Maingear with a large selection of the best gaming components.

The 4K and VR-ready system has graphics options from Nvidia and AMD, along with the latest Intel Core i7 processors.
The base model comes with a price of $999 and features Intel Skylake 4 Core processors, channel DDR4 RAM and supports up to 2 graphics cards. The high-priced X99 is sold at $4099 and boasts of Intel’s Haswell-E 6-8 core processors and Quad Channel DDR4 RAM.
“The feature-set and craftsmanship of the R1 Razer Edition leave it in a class of its own today, and the customizable design leaves the door wide open for untold enhancements well into the future,” said Razer CEO Min-Liang Tan.
The Maingear R1 Razer Edition supports the latest NVME SSDs as well as 10TB HDDs. Memory options allow for up to 32GB of premium Kingston DDR4 memory. The Nvidia graphics offers up to 2 x GeForce Titan X (Pascal) 24GB GDDR5 in SLI 3D Vision Surround and the AMD graphics has up to 2x Radeon R9 Fury X 8GB in Crossfire.
The R1 Editon comes with a standard one year warranty, but is extendable by another two years.
