In two weeks LG is slated to announced the flagship V30. Several rumors have already given a glimpse of the hardware and display. Adding to the existing is the latest revelation that the V30 will have a floating bar offering quick access to frequently used functions.
In its next release LG reportedly will not be going with a secondary display, which was common in other V series phones. Replacing that will be the floating bar that will offer more personalisation options for users.
“When powered off, the Always-on Display is even more customisable than before. The AOD now not only shows the clock, it can also be set to display Quick Tools, Music Player or a personal photograph as well,” LG said while explaining the Floating Bar.
Additionally, the company also confirmed that the V30 will feature custom Android UI, UX 6.0+, which has been optimised to work well with the OLED FullVision display. That also corroborates reports of the V30 coming with OLED FullVision display.
Last week, reports said the V30 will be equipped with dual cameras consisting of a 16MP sensor and a 13MP sensor. A new feature called Graphy is being incorporated to give photography addicts more options to explore.
“With Graphy, users can choose from among a portfolio of professional shots, each with a different style and mood or they can download photos taken by professionals from the Graphy website or mobile app and apply those metadata presets – such as white balance, shutter speed, aperture and ISO – to photos taken with the V30,” LG explained in a note.
In terms of specs, LG V30 is rumored to feature a 6-inch OLED Full Vision display, Qualcomm’s latest
Snapdragon 835 processor, 6GB RAM and 64GB storage. The device will be powered by a 3,200mAh battery set up. LG V30 is expected to be priced around 800,000 KRW ($700).
As is the trend, it appears LG might also have a larger sibling to accompany the device. The LG V30 Plus is expected to boast 128GB storage and additional features in the audio and wireless charging departments. Both the devices will have the same display and processor.
